The third installment of EliteXC's “Champions
of the Cage” returns to FSN this Sunday 10/12
at 9PM ET/PT.
While last week's episode featured classic bouts
from fighters like Anderson Silva and Rampage Jackson,
this week's highlights some of the recent classics
from EliteXC history.
This Sunday's show will be headlined by the September
2007 EliteXC Middleweight Title bout between “Ruthless”
Robbie Lawler.

featuring two huge title fights!
With KJ Noons stripped of the title for refusing to
fight Nick Diaz, the belt is up for grabs. To determine
who the new Lightweight Champion will be, EliteXC
has put together a fight-of-the-year candidate...
It will be Nick Diaz vs. Eddie Alvarez for the EliteXC
Lightweight Championshp.
Headlining the “Night of Champions” card
is a Middleweight Title bout between “Ruthless”
Robbie Lawler, the king of his division, and the #1
contender, “Smokin' Joe” Joey Villasenor.
Also confirmed for the card is Scott Smith vs. Hector
Lombard, Kaitlin Young vs. Sarah Kaufman, and Rafael
Feijao in action.
