Weigh-ins are from 7-9AM for adults. The rules meeting starts at 9:30, and the tournament starts 10AM

**No Weigh-Ins for Kids but **Kids must be registered by 9AM so that we can create the brackets. No exceptions!!!!!

Price: (Adult) $35 for pre-registered competitors. The cutoff date for registration is 11-20-08. The price after
11-20-08 will be $45.

(Kids) $25 for pre-registered competitors. The cutoff date for registration is 11-20-08. The price after 11-20-08 will be $35.

Spectator Fee $4

The First 50 competitors will receive a free tournament shirt

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Coaches it would be appreciated if you could prepare me a list of your competitors’ Name, Weight, School, Age (if child) and Division.

To all coaches, competitors, referees and general staff:

Hey guys and gals, this is Javier Vazquez. I am writing to you to give you a friendly reminder of our 1st Annual Turkey Tapout Tournament, which will be held on November 22, 2008 at the Millennia MMA Academy in Rancho Cucamonga Ca.
This tournament is for competitors of all levels and for the first time, will include kids divisions. The address to the school is 8423 Rochester Ave Suite 102 Rancho Cucamonga Ca 91730. Our last tournament was a huge success and we plan on running this one just as well if not better.

This tournament will be specifically for beginners looking to get their feet wet in competing on the regular tournament circuit. No sand baggers!!!!!!! We are trying to create a friendly and non-threatening environment for competitors to try their hand at competing against other schools. It will be a double elimination tournament, which will guarantee at least 2 matches per competitor.

We will also, for the first time, be offering advanced open weight divisions for competitors with more than 3 years of experience. The advanced division will be a 16-man open-weight single-elimination tournament.

The divisions are 1 year of experience or less (Novice), 2 years of experience or less (Beginner), 3 years or less (Intermediate), and more than 3 years of experience (Advanced). The weight classes are 145lbs and below, 146-155lbs, 156-170lbs, 171-185lbs, 186-205lbs, and 206 and above. Winners of each division will be awarded trophies!!!!!!

The price to compete will be $35 for pre-registration and $45 for all post registered and at-the-door competitors in the adult divisions. Kids will be $25 dollars for pre-registered and $35 for all post registered and at-the-door competitors. The pre-registration cutoff date will be Thursday November 20, 2008.

The kids will be separated by age, size, weight, and skill level. We will do our best to make sure that your kids will have a fair chance to compete with other kids of their skill level. To all parents: Please be here between 7-9 am to register your child. Please do not wait until the last minute. Bracketing kids is one of the hardest things to do in a tournament. Please give us adequate time to perform this task. We want to make sure that all kids have a pleasant experience in our tournament.
